The Effect of Therapy of Banana Types of Musa Paradisiaca Var Sapientum Linn on Decreasing Systole and Diastol Blood Pressure in Hypertension Patients

Hypertension is a chronic Non-Communicable Disease which one of the causes due to lack potassium intake and high sodium intake. Treatment hypertension carried out pharmacologically non-pharmacologically. One non-pharmacological therapies that can help lower blood pressure consume bananas type musa paradisiaca var sapientum linn because their content. This Research aim determine therapeutic effect consuming three Ambon (±140 g/fruit) per day for 14 days in reducing diastolic systolic sufferers. The research method used was pre-experimental using Group Pretest-Posttest design. sample sufferers working area Pallangga Health Center totaling 16 respondents, selected purposive sampling technique. results Paired T-Test showed p-value = 0.001 0.008 (p <0.05), means consumption ambon effective pressure.
